On Thursday (14),releases another new feature for users: save posts. The feature is similar to that already applied in Facebook, which places a “flag” (flag/marker) in selected post to save, read or see later. The action can be performed directly in the feed, where the post appears.
“Now you’ll see a bookmark icon in our the post, be it an image or video, in the feed. Simply touch it to save the post in a new private tab in your profile,” says the social network, post on the Instagram blog.
Whether it’s a look of the day to be inspired, or the video of a workout to test another day, or even a new restaurant to meet, from now on, it will be easier to save this information. When you see a post you want to save, just touch the bookmark icon below the photo or video and it will all be saved in a private, accessible tab in your own profile.
In this environment, you’ll see all the posts you’ve saved – just as they already do on Facebook – and they’ll only be visible to you. It is worth noting that the option to save posts is available for iPhone () in the Apple App Store, on the and in the Windows Store. According to Instagram, the function for Windows Phone arrives soon, in the coming weeks.
