As Android Police reports, referring to various forum posts, owners of a Galaxy S9 / S9 + are currently complaining that their device’s touch screen is not working properly.

The display is the main input option for the smartphone. If this does not work, it is more than annoying. It is not known what the problems are exactly. First and foremost, the larger Galaxy S9 + seems to be affected. One user reported that resetting to factory defaults fixed the problem, while others still have the problem after a reset. For other users, it helped to change the display’s sensitivity.

At Samsung, customer satisfaction is our core business and we aim to deliver the best possible experience. We are looking into a limited number of reports of Galaxy S9 / S9 + touchscreen responsiveness issues. We are working with affected customers and investigating. We encourage any customer with questions to contact us directly at 1-800-SAMSUNG.

Meanwhile, Samsung has also officially formulated and confirmed isolated problems. Together with stakeholders, the South Korean company is working on a solution. Customers who are affected should contact Samsung Support.
