In 2016, Sony announced its new line Xperia X, leaving aside the then consolidated series Xperia Z. However, despite some specific changes to the design of Xperia XZ , Xperia X Compact, Xperia X , Xperia X Performance and Xperia X , These still brought strong OmniBalance features. In 2017, the company seems to be dedicated to changing that, and if this new image really is the new Xperia X, then we’ll have some good news on the way. Update: leaks benchmark Xperia X. Check out the details here.
New Xperia X: design:
According to the site SlashLeaks in the image below we see the box of the new generation of Xperia X, which should be announced next month, during the MWC 2017 , one of the world’s largest technology trade fair, held in Barcelona, Spain.
Looking at the box, you can identify the hashtag #TheGreatest. That is, Sony would be stating that this will be the best smartphone ever made by the company (what a novelty). Now, analyzing the sides of the new Xperia X, we can say that the Japanese manufacturer finally rethought the design of their smartphones and will take very well the front of the device to the screen.
Although it has no other indication regarding the materials used in the manufacture of the new Xperia X, Sony should opt for the metal body, as it did in the previous version of the device. As we can see in the image that follows, the Xperia X 2016 still bore many of the features of the OmniBalance design line of the Xperia Z series:
New Xperia X: technical specifications:
Processor: after the image leaked box, is now the turn of the technical specifications of the Xperia X pass through the AnTuTu benchmark. Among the alleged hardware news for the new Sony intermediate, which arrives in the Premium category, we will have a MediaTek Helio P20 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Screen: the AnTuTu also showed that the screen resolution is FullHD (1920 x 1080 pixels), and the device runs on Android 7.0 factory Nougat.
Cameras: it seems, Sony will invest a lot in the front camera of this model. According to the screenshot of the test, the front sensor will have 16MP, and the rear 23MP:
New Xperia X: launch and price:
As mentioned above, the launch of Xperia X 2017 is expected for the next few days, and should happen during the MWC 2017. The price of the device, however, has not yet been disclosed, but taking into consideration that the Xperia X arrived in the country costing R $ 3,799.00 (64GB model), I do not expect anything below this value.
So, do you think Sony will succeed in 2017?
